You might not feel the north wind down at sea level but notice what its doing to that particulate matter pollution. Thats going to drop south across the north bay and the inland east bay during the day tomorrow. Its the reason why we get another spare the air dare. It will be the north bay and the inland east bay that sees the worst of the pollution. Sunday as temperatures climb, i think we might see one more of these spare the air days on sunday. For the morning as you saw in
San Francisco, some areas of low clouds move across the bay with mid to upper 50s as we get the day started. Then that hazy sunshine weve been all too accustomed to so far this summer, youll see more of that as that upper level smoke drops south. Highs close to 80 in san jose. Upper 60s near
San Francisco and low 70s around oakland. So the pattern ahead youll notice that we have these weather systems that are just passing by a little too far to the north to bring us any rain. But like we saw today and this week, that should be enough at times to bring up the wind enough to keep most of the smoke for the better part of next week, i think, again off toward north and east. Again, these storms still too far away to bring us any rain just yet. Could see a little more on the northwest california coast, but we will likely get more out of that will be some cooler temperatures as we approach next weekend. Some hazy skies, a little bit of smoke as we go through the weekend, especially in the north bay. On sunday, close to 90. Then cooler with some better air quality as we head through next week. Just ahead, the clock is ticking for tiktok. What could happen to the popular app this sunday and the lastminute move that could save it. And happening now,
San Francisco has found a silver like to the covid virus. The citys rec and
Park Department announced it has made it possible to bike from the
