Yeah and not just any group co analyst joining me tonight is author of the divided era Tom Del Beccaro he is host of the podcast politics in perspective. David mckeown is with us tonight Political Science chair at sonoma state and Michael Yockey michael is a political analyst and host of the podcast politically smart ask and ask hey. Know we cannot and moist and going to a job i hear, but we are going were going from a campaign that was on life support. The days to go to this resurrection what what do you watch, but still a split decision looked to me that this isnt falling sort of like we expected the moderate lane now is thinned out biden has consolidated that hes winning states. That are more moderate, but the biggest states out there, colorado texas and california are likely going to give a give a treasure trove as well to sanders so coming out of tonight, youre going to see a split decision. And joe biden could have this kind of momentum if you are the nominee in november would be pretty it seems like a big stretch to see that kind of happened he is a candidate who kind of plot along look hes run 3 national campaigns, none of them have really been barnburner campaigns, but the race is completely flipped the last 48 hours and thats what were seeing for the margins if bernies expected to do well in california and well in texas and well in colorado we want to look at those margins the difference and if joe biden had set 15 threshold for example in colorado to get the delegates that he needs that closes the race and we move also this election has always been about who can go out and beat donald trump say and for us pretty much the entire primary season until 4 days ago. No one people wanted but no one thought it could be joe biden now you think it. They won it interesting to see those numbers. I would tell you for a week ago, youre saying that it would be a split decision on super tuesday by people would be dancing in the i mean theyre just going now. Theres a chance he tweeted steals victories in the northeast he hes going up a good fight in texas and who knows whats going to happen in colorado with all those late votes, a california all those late votes still out there when you see the late folks are absolutely breaking heavily toward by mrs. Youre very interesting. Its too early to really set for the narrative is but you can certainly say that this is a campaign that is back from the brink. Yeah, huge number of people sitting on their balance until the last minute apparently its going to fund raising coup for them as well over the next 24 hours or what have theyre going to a lot of money and biden didnt have a lot of my ability fight this fight his viability. The fact that hes now at 5 ability stage and all these different states where he was really an almost Single Digits a week ago. Thats going to start bringing in the money and the consolidation of the donors from buttigieg and klobuchar is going make a difference all right joe lets go back to california for second could 2 or more candidates. Meet the 15 fresh i i dont think more and can anymore i think shes really stalling out as as a result showed tonight. He talks about having a organization in california. I dont really think he does so i think Bernie Sanders does really well in california. The question is i think joe biden finishes are in the low 20s which is important for him because it gets him the delegates but california is a big deal early voting in texas is a big deal early voting helped. Bernie sanders and will continue to do so and Bernie Sanders comes out what the head with delegates, but that number is less than a 150 that is a win for joe biden to numbers closer to a 100 in terms of delegate lead thats pretty good for joe biden with that momentum going moving for you want to grab big mo you want to take momentum thats what joe biden is going to have if its bernies closer 200 and thats them thats the night that they want it doesnt look like theyre going to have that night at least so far with these early returns and we say to follow up on a comment that tom age. In the last hour. Warren is taking votes away for sanders. When you see the early returns at bloomberg was taking the biden vote. So you see here rumor being viable and some of the Southern States whats going to be interesting and this is sort of goes into the the convention positioning strategy is that you have more and hoping to be the alternative to burning in a deadlocked convention. You bloomberg want to do the same but really really if you start looking at where bloomberg has said is is finishing up pretty strong. His delegates biden could provide over the top at the convention. So theres a lot of math going on here that your your Michael Bloomberg overall spending away over half a billion dollars. Maybe as much as 3 quarters of a billion dollars year to economy in American Economy but not getting him anywhere without you know at the end of the day. People dont trust him why would you trust someone went republican independent democrat why would democrats and the answer was because joe biden was such a weak candidate they thought bloomberg was going to come in and save today, but there was no deaths of love for him just us it was an in depth, the love for warren. And sanders was the sanders always is a 40 candidate among democrats. He said in a one on one race maybe gets to 45. But hes not a majority candidate and bloomberg. His depth of love for him is very shallow. The democrats are going to wake up one day and realize that they have joe biden and hes got problems have to switch to see how far joe biden can go all and well be back well will be back to you a lot to talk catherine thank you guys as the polls close tonight on this super tuesday make sure that make sure to tune in to kron 4 or kron on. Maybe a slight chance of showers on friday night and then a better chance some raindrops as we head into saturday, the watch the whole core the slow spin off the coastline, this gets difficult to forecast is what we call a cutoff low, but likely to spend in some moisture keep things on and off wet for the foreseeable future well in the next week so that does certainly look promising web see how that all works out time is going to be difficult but for right now enjoy beautiful sunny day tomorrow after that things change big time as a chance showers returns friday night right through the weekend. But she says the industry also needs tougher government oversight, but regulations have been weakened during the Trump Administration the centers for medicare and Medicaid Services or cms is the federal agency overseeing Nursing Homes. When i asked if they would be stepping up inspections in the wake of the epidemic there administrator responded via an emailed statement for the Trump Administration and cms patients come first, the Health Safety and welfare of americas patients, including nursing home residents and our provider workforce in the face of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus is our highest priority.
