You can see the skies are nice and dry across the region. This ridge of High Pressure which is shaping up results in sinking air across the bay, not only does that make things hot but also especially hazy as any sort of smoke plume suttles right back down and then filters out across the region and not Strong Enough winds to a pushed it out overnight so its really sitting with us this morning. So we make our way through the day today you will eventually notice, wind speeds picking up that is not good news for these wildfires that are burning all across the bay from the northeast to south bay today. We will see dry conditions into tomorrow and slightly cooler temperatures and a bit of good news here in a deepening marine layer come thursday that will at least results and foggy conditions near the coastline and the slightly cooler forecast for inland areas as for today or last day with widespread excessive heat warnings all across the region. You can see those lighting up in for all areas with the exception of the bay side in coastal areas, 60s and 70s for San Francisco today, thats a little cooler than where we have been as for the rest of the bay, youre also noticing temperatures suddenly cooler today, not a big drop so were still hot with 90s in areas like san carlos in mountain view. Even a triple digit down in morgan hill right at 100 degrees, san jose falls from 99 yesterday to 94 today. Well 80s from fremont to hayward youre out of the triple digits in the tri valley and back into the upper 90s walnut creek and danville right at a 100 degrees today oakland at 83 north bay temperatures still some of our hottest young bill in the vicinity of north napa wildfires. Right at a 100 degrees today. So weve still got some searing heat. Especially in some of those areas that are most vulnerable to fire right now, santa rosa at 96 for the high. Tomorrows temperatures will be noticeably cooler especially near the bay and the coast. Were some fog tries to push right in inland areas will also be just a few degrees cooler dropping on average into the mid 90s were will stay through the weekend. James, all right.
