I will let you know that traffic is going to be affected obviously on the peninsula. Northbound 101 is slowing down and people are getting off the freeway. The best way for you to get into San Francisco if youre coming from the peninsula is to use 380 and then 280 to get around doing this. Thats what i would do or not get on the freeway and use city streets and somehow get on the freeway after the closure which again is northbound 101 approaching 3rd street. And its going to be there for a while. Leother commutes around the bay we see there is low traffic on the altamont pass. The Solano County commute is off to a decent start and really the rest of the bay area commute looks all right. As you can see here, traffic is moving well in the oakland area.
