Local News Briefs: Ditch maintenance project will impact traffic flow Staff Report The Guernsey County Highway Department will start a countywide drainage ditch maintenance project Monday with traffic maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to take eight weeks with work performed from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. "Roadways will be open to local traffic," said Guernsey County Engineer Paul Sherry. "And, motorists should expect significant delays as the work zone will be very large." The first phase of the project will proceed in order along the following roads: Salt Road, Chestnut Hill Road, Indian Camp Run Road, Twin Sisters Road, Swan Road, Bates Road and Earley Road.
