Local police are coordinating with state and federal agencies ahead of any potential protests at the state Capitol on or before Inauguration Day on Wednesday. 
Gov. Ned Lamont announced this week he was sending more than 100 National Guard troops to assist in Washington as the state also ramps up security following an FBI warning that armed protests could take place in all 50 state capitals before President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration next week.
