Majestic Gold Corp. ("Majestic" or the "Company") (TSXV:MJS)(FSE:MJT) is pleased to announce that its operating subsidiary, Yantai Zhongjia Mining Co. Ltd., has received governmental approval to resume operations at its Songjiagou North Underground Mine following the successful completion its cautionary safety inspection. The Company further anticipates receiving governmental approval to resume mining operations at the Songjiagou Open Pit Gold Mine by early June 2021.
The Company had announced on March 1, 2021, the mandated closure by the Shandong Provincial Government of all non-coal operations in the province pending governmental cautionary safety inspections. Majestic has operated the Songjiagou Open Pit Gold Mine and Songjiagou North Underground Mine accident-free since commencing production.
