STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Brooklyn man who prosecutors said drunkenly crashed his car into a West Brighton home nine months ago while his girlfriend was on the hood, killing her, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Jahfare Ford, 26, faces up to 12 years in prison when sentenced Feb. 9 in connection with the death of Tierra Eddy, 29, on March 14.
Eddy was killed two months after she and Ford had held a funeral service for their baby girl who died in the womb, the victim’s mother previously told the Advance.
