STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Brooklyn man, who prosecutors said drunkenly crashed his car into a West Brighton home last year while his girlfriend was on the hood, killing her, was sentenced Tuesday to up to 12 years in prison.
Two months ago, Jahfare Ford, 26, pleaded guilty in state Supreme Court, St. George, to second-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of Tierra Eddy, 29, last March 14.
