McKee makes COVID the focus of a busy first day in office

The Gov. Dan McKee era in Rhode Island began, unlike the others in the state's history, on Zoom and at a Providence community center transformed into a COVID-19 vaccination site.  
"Me, I am from Cumberland, for those that don't know me," he told Cabinet and staff in the introductory Zoom call. "I grew up in a Boys & Girls Club. My dad helped start that club, and it was an important thing in my life."
