(CHART) MARYLAND — A wintry mix is likely to tangle up the evening commute for many Marylanders Wednesday, with more than 150 accidents before rush hour hit. After snow brushed the region in the morning, weather officials say sleet and freezing rain are likely in the afternoon and evening in central Maryland, where ice may accumulate. Snow emergency plans are in effect for Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and Washington counties, Maryland State Police reported after 2 p.m. This means people may not park on roads designated as snow emergency routes in these areas.
