The Saints got a taste of what next year could look like with four starters sitting out for the second half of the season due to COVID-19 contact tracing at the Bluegrass Conference Tournament. Underclassmen that started games for Melcher-Dallas this past season included sophomore Kasyn Reed, sophomore BrieAnna Remster, freshman Brooklyn Metz, and freshman Paetyn Anderson.
Melcher-Dallas will also hope to get Hailey Hoch back 100% healthy as she missed the second half of the season with a torn ACL. Hoch was the Saints’ leading rebounder in 2020-21.
