The National Weather Service in Phoenix said the East Valley cities could see rain and wind through 10 p.m. thanks to storms moving up from Pinal County. As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, the weather service had recorded less than 0.1" of rain in parts of central Phoenix, and 0.16" of rain near Loop 101 and 47th Avenue. However, the Arizona Department of Transportation posted on Twitter that it was raining on U.S. 60 in the East Valley after 9 p.m.
