February 27, 2021 at 9:25 AM BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Daniel Guyton is a staple of the Governor Livingston community: a graduate, an Industrial Arts teacher at the school for 18 years, and head coach of the football team for eight years. He is known for his love of what he does, whether it is teaching students about machinery or leading his players through an important game. Guyton’s grandfather inspired him to be a teacher. “My grandfather was one of my heroes, and he was an Industrials Arts teacher for many years in Arizona,” he said. After graduating from high school, he went to The College of New Jersey for both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, which allowed him to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps.
