[Photo: NCDC] A shipment of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is expected to arrive in Libya tomorrow, according to Abdel Basset Samio, the National Center for Disease Control’s (NCDC) Director of the Department of Vaccinations. According to a statement from Samio, the British vaccine shipment, which contains 117,000 doses, will be administered to those who have been prioritized and registered in the system as the first dosage of a two-shot vaccination program. He went on to say that, according to corporate pledges, a supply of an anticipated 1 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine would arrive in the next two weeks, along with a supply of 116,000 doses from AstraZeneca.
