New York nurse Sandra Lindsay became the first recipient in the United States to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on Monday. She was administered the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, where she serves as the director of critical care nursing.
