No. 6 Oregon softball shutout for third time in as many weekends in series finale with Stanford Updated 1:55 PM; EUGENE — As Pac-12 play has worn on the one consistent trait for Oregon softball has been its inconsistency in all phases. A day removed from posting 14 hits, their most in Pac-12 play this season, the No. 6 Ducks mustered just three in arguably their worst offensive showing of the season in a 5-0 loss to Stanford Sunday morning at Jane Sanders Stadium. It was third time in as many weekends Oregon was shutout in Pac-12 play. “Not good enough,” Oregon coach Melyssa Lombardi said. “We got outplayed, outcoached, outeverything. ... There’s nothing from this game that I would take.”
