Pamplin Media Group Habitat for Humanity needs land To the editor:Since 1995, Newberg Area Habitat for Humanity has built, renovated and repaired homes in Newberg, Dundee, Sherwood and St. Paul. Our communities have been tremendously supportive of our mission to build decent, safe affordable housing.We have a request: Our volunteers and homeowners are busily building a duplex on Fifth Street in Newberg. When this project is completed, likely in a few months, we will have exhausted our land supply. We need land.If you are a realtor, landowner, developer or homeowner with an extra parcel, we would love to speak with you. We are not looking for much. We typically build medium-density residential infill projects. We will happily discuss the potential benefits of selling to a nonprofit. Should you know of anything, please contact us.
