Article content Local seniors were tickled pink by a kind Valentine’s Day gesture. To treat residents residing in assisted living and long-term care to some love, local flower shop Tickled Floral organized a community-funded flower purchase. The initiative quickly gained traction on social media as 267 valentines were bought and the shop rounded that up to 294 flowers in order to cover all residents living at Sherwood Care, CapitalCare Strathcona, and Country Cottage. After selling more than 100 flowers within the first 24-hours, she was blown away by the response.
