Pavelski another PP goal as slumping Stars beat Columbus 5-0

Joe Pavelski scored his NHL-leading ninth power-play goal and the Dallas Stars tallied twice in the opening period for the first time this season, beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-0 on Saturday night for only their second win in the past 12 games. “We were going to take a win however we could get it right now,” Pavelski said. Stars rookie goalie Jake Oettinger made 21 saves in his first career shutout, coming in his seventh start.
