Peace and War Summit focus turns to infrastructure, military rivalry Pair of Wednesday sessions will delve deeper into U.S.-China relationship Discussions on China’s multibillion-dollar, multifaceted Belt and Road Initiative and the United States-China military rivalry lead the 2021 Peace and War Virtual Summit into its second week. The summit, presented by Norwich University’s John and Mary Frances Patton Peace and War Center, will hold a pair of sessions Wednesday. In the first session, from 10 to 11 a.m., the Naval War College’s Lyle Goldstein and Endicott College’s Vitaly Kozyrev will discuss the military cooperation and rivalry between the United States and China.
