Pilot bus service from Vallejo to SF Ferry Terminal free this month
VALLEJO — Solano County Transit reminds commuters that it now has a pilot bus that goes to the San Francisco Ferry Terminal – and it will be free through Feb. 1.
“The new pilot bus departures connect Vallejo to San Francisco during peak commute hours. The trips will operate on weekdays from the Vallejo Transit Center, serving El Cerrito del Norte BART and then on to San Francisco Ferry Terminal, on the Embarcadero before returning to Vallejo,” according to a statement released by SolTrans
The service, which started in December, has a 6:15 a.m. departure from Vallejo to San Francisco. The arrival time is shortly after 7 a.m. An afternoon round trip departs Vallejo at 4:15 p.m. and leaves the San Francisco Ferry Terminal at 5:45 p.m.
