Plain Township man's ashes destined to become part of the coral reef

PLAIN TWP. –  Brad Higgie is ready for his final trip.
His cremains rest inside a tote-sized suitcase on a living room table inside the house he shared with his wife, Lorna.
It sits in front of his portrait that Lorna made from a cutout of their wedding photo, next to a dish full of reminder mementos, including his Diebold business card from his 35th and last year with the company in 2005, a favorite Minion toy and a handful of casino poker chips.
"I have him in a little suitcase ... because he was always ready to go," Lorna explained.
To visit friends and relatives across the country; for work trips to countries around the globe; to gamble in Vegas or Ontario; for winter visits to Florida to escape Ohio weather; to play golf anywhere; to dance and party.
