(MENAFN - The Peninsula) Doha: Faculty members and staff of the College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently welcomed prospective students at a Virtual Graduate Studies Information Session recently. The event was open to the public and attracted participants from Qatar, across the region, and further afield. Founding dean of CHLS, Dr. Edward Stuenkel and faculty members were on hand to present an in-depth overview of the research-intensive Master of Science and PhD programs in biomedical sciences, genomics, precision medicine, and exercise science offered by the college. The session highlighted both the curriculum with its multidisciplinary learning approach and the pathways for students to participate in high-impact research in important, health-related fields once enrolled in a graduate program at CHLS.
