North South University and BRAC University, two top private universities in Bangladesh, have been placed in the 1001-1200 bracket in the 2022 index. QS evaluates 1,300 universities across the world according to six metrics: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty/Student Ratio, Citations per faculty, International Faculty Ratio, and International Student Ratio. QS does not assign specific positions for universities rated below 500. Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) in United States of America continues to be at the top spot, 10th year in a row. Followed by the University of Oxford, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, and Harvard University, in the top five.
