Print San Diego County officials eager to speed and streamline the region’s sluggish COVID-19 vaccine rollout have turned to an online signup system that they hope will be a one-stop-shop for residents looking to get their shot. There’s just one problem — many San Diegans say the site doesn’t work. Last week, the state launched MyTurn (myturn.ca.gov) as a way for Californians to answer one of the pandemic’s most pressing questions: Can I get vaccinated? Those who are eligible — San Diego’s health care workers, nursing home residents and staff, and those 65 and up — can schedule an appointment at a location near them. Everyone else can sign up for future updates.
