MANSFIELD, TEXAS — Ramtech Building Systems has announced the completion of a permanent modular building for the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport terminal expansion project in Panama City Beach, Fla. Ramtech, a design-build construction firm based in Mansfield, Texas, both manufactured and installed the structure. The 7,168-square-foot building addition increases the passenger capacity and seating areas for the two gates that serve the airport’s regional jet operators. The firm worked as a subcontractor to Allstate Construction of Tallahassee, Fla., the general contractor on the project, providing the core and shell manufacturing of the steel modular sections and the finish-out of the exterior in addition to the installation. Using pier and beam permanent modular construction, the Type II-b steel building addition was connected to the existing terminal structure using a site-built corridor.
