Lee Zeldin showed once again today that his bid to be the Republican nominee for governor in 2022 has strong support from party leaders. Zeldin, who represents the District 1 of New York in the House of Representatives, won a Republican straw poll today on the governor’s race by a large margin. He took 85% of the vote.
