That comes on the heels of the Blazers reportedly moving to bring in Scott Brooks as a top assistant. Rogers has built a reputation for developing strong defense in recent seasons. Forbes recently credited Rogers with the development of several Clippers centers, including Ivica Zubac. A former assistant and scout for seven different franchises, Rogers joined the Clippers in 2020 and worked with Billups under head coach Tyronn Lue.
