Joe biden gave remarks that seemed somewhat contradictory he emphasized that he was not declaring victory but he believed he was on the road to a win biden said he will plan to lead the country in healing the wounds and divisions that have come out of the trump years take a listen to what joe biden said once this election is finalized and behind us it will be time for us to do what weve always done as americans to put the harsh rhetoric of the campaign behind us to lower the temperature to see each other again to listen to one another to wait to hear each other again and respecting the care for one another to unite to heal to come together as a nation now biden emphasized that he plans to govern on behalf of all americans whether or not they voted for him that seemed to fit the theme of his remarks this is more from joe biden i we are campaigning as a democrat. But i will govern as an american president now donald trump has tweeted out quote we have claimed for electoral purposes the commonwealth of pennsylvania which wont allow legal observers the state of georgia and the state of North Carolina each one of which has a big trump lead additionally we hear by claim the state of michigan if in fact there was a large number of secretly dumped ballots as has been widely reported that tweet has been labeled by twitter as quote disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process now and are to see those tweets you actually have to go to the president s twitter page and then click on a disclaimer in order to see those tweets they dont show up in peoples news feeds and its quite quite a concern there not a single republican has been able to look at any one of these mail ballots they could be from mars as far as were concerned or they could be from the Democratic National committee joe biden could have voted 50 times as far as we know with 5000 times the ballots could be from camden. Last night where there was such a mixed reaction to trumps speech up 2 am that when you came out all smiles but saying this is far from over and its not the blue wave as many were protecting as youre quite right and sad but i mean still a lot of people for you know what preelection this is just a lot of people saying all that were going to fight about but they didnt maybe expect it to actually get to this point always surprised that i actually got to a point of 2 president ial candidates saying were going to go to court well 2020 and all that of course there was a new put it this is the worst Case Scenario if one of them had more than a blue at the polls indicated you know i would be fired it would be the sword the new president the other would be forced to concede the clues are these the mall worst Case Scenario it is because theres no room to contest the election i mean there were 50 c. I do think so and i think right now its a necessary strategy its a good strategy because frankly were seeing a lot of very questionable things here you know weve weve been talking about this in seen some of these states being called provided that were way too early one of the most obvious ones being arizona really the the entire arizona example has now set a precedent for what is being called what does the world think what is what is the rest of the United States or the country or arizonas for that matter looking at when they see that less than one percent of the vote was tallied and it immediately went to biden via fox news or Associated Press and so because of that trump strategy has needed to be getting in front of this before its prematurely called because now were looking at a situation where arizona might very well flip the New York Times is already retracted that the trends doing the same now in michigan scene that if this is happened if there have been things that have been called before they were supposed to be called or things that were called with with maybe mistakes that he wants to get out in front of that he wants to have that argument that sets there but this again this isnt a narrative where this is trumps own little world what trump just wants to make a statement this is not whats happening were talking about an election where the American People the entire world saw until at least 3 oclock in the morning last night that trump was ahead by double digits in michigan i mean it was looking like a landslide in michigan and pennsylvania and wisconsin and all these other states and then suddenly out of nowhere at 4 oclock in the morning there are these there are these mystery ballots and so he said trump is definitely trying to set a precedent of this is this is questionable there needs to be challenges is not a norm there are not this is not normal for the election and i think by now were all starting to see that definitely doesnt seem like a normal election but we still dont have any final results and trump and biden have already said that theyre ready to take things to the Supreme Court so do you think this election might be decided not by going to the ballot box but by legal battles. You know we certainly hope that that wont happen it might have to and that is the way that our our country is set up thats the way that our judiciary is set up we hope we hope that we can see that play out that separation of powers where the judiciary is its own independent branch it is nonpartizan nonpolitical no matter what we might hear we do know one thing this election will not be decided by the mainstream news media in america it will not be decided by fox news or by c. N. N. Or by Associated Press its not going to be decided by that so im glad to see that people are saying that this is not over yet we do need to figure out whats happening but we have already now seen thousands of reports coming out not just of questionable things happening in certain states especially the toss up ones but also of mistakes of some of these election commissions in the state coming out saying you know what we messed up we put another number a no we didnt mean that we didnt need to find those of their votes so were not sure whats going on behind the scenes in some of these states but as you said this is far from over i think not only are the state races fall from all over even if some people say that they have been called even if some states might have called them there are still doubts that need to be counted theres still ballots that need to be verified and thats were going to do remember there is a very big difference between every vote needs to be counted and every legal vote needs to be counted lets take a look at joe biden for a 2nd here in his recent speech he called for americans to unite and quote not treat political enemies political opponents as enemies and quote do you find that statement contradictory coming from the former vice president. Everything that comes from the Democratic Party at this point that talks about unity and peace is very contradictory because weve been looking at now the last 6 months. Not republicans not from supporters but anti to supporters and rioters that clearly and loudly support the Democratic Party burning down business theres rioting and looting threatening people and im not going to say that there is hurting people on either side but its been a largely predominantly in democratic runs these poor people that are supporting joe biden and so you know when you have somebody like joe biden that comes out that calls people deplorable or says those people you know Hillary Clinton called the deplorable called supporters deplorable call conservatives deplorable you know youve had several people within the Democratic Party including joe biden that have come out trying to place people in baskets trying to place people and boxes of who youre supposed to be who youre supposed to vote for and these these horrible people i mean weve had that kind of labeling and name calling weve had the entire cancel Cultural Movement the cancel culture move in america was started by biden supporters with his support implicit support where we could cancel you just because you might be a conservative or wear a mag a hat or vote for trump or whatever that is they can call you a racist as in a photo by an extremist and make you lose your job lose your friends you lose your livelihood your social media account all of these things are things that joe biden supporters have supported the joe biden has never condemned and talked down to so yes i do look at some statements about unity is very hypocritical and its really pandering to people that he thinks he might have won at this time when we very well know whats happened here in the last several months well jennifer what do you think about these last minute delays in these final accounting of the Election Results what do you what kind of tensions do you think thats going to lead to as a possible its going to spill over into more political violence. I think its leading already to a lot of tensions a hopefully the violence is going to be able to be quelled i think theres already been some player its going on in d. C. By the white house of course those are not by Trump Supporters those are people trying to get rid of make sure he doesnt need to stay in the white house but hopefully that this is going to be figured out soon i think that the tension that has been rising is as we seated earlier being seen from some of these votes that came out later than they were supposed to remember this is not just the 1st time weve ever done this i mean you can talk about coronavirus and malins but weve had at least with all the Mainstream Media hype and how we look at how we decide our elections the last 30 years 30 plus years of elections been decided with news outlets with Media Outlets with the same punin saying the same kinds of things so we know that its generally decided the night of the election late in the night sometimes a couple states in the in the Morning Hours the day after maybe a couple next days but its generally decided pretty quickly we can see those votes coming in and what we saw last night the way that weve seen that for the last several several decades is that you see the numbers going up you see the votes being tallied in you generally know whos going to take it thats why you can count these it was very much leaning towards donald trump none of that was called on time none of that happened a lot of those that should have been called long ago georgia North Carolina still havent been and what were seeing things called providing very early were seeing things that might go back and of course in michigan and wisconsin were seen at 4 oclock in the morning mysterious amounts of over 100000 ballots with 100 percent turnout for joe biden i mean thats never been seen in any polling let alone election unless its some kind of actual fascist dictatorship and so i think those are the questions that are causing tensions and i think the main tensions in the majority of americans right now specifically those exercising their fundamental right to vote is jus they know about this did they get evidence of it and is something going to be done about this or are we going to sweep it under the rug again because we know theres been voter fraud before thats what i think the tension is is is it going to be exposed thats what were going to be looking at. Im glad you bring up voter fraud i want to move on to trumps claim of voter fraud what kind of evidence of that do you think were going to see if any. And that is the big question here because again theres been all kinds of talks in coming out from both sides for the last several years going on since prior to even 2002009 myself ive talked with local Law Enforcement with former federal Law Enforcement f. B. I. Agents throughout the country who have seen instances of voter fraud and of course we know that there have been no major investigations with a president ial election like this or something that would call an election into question but there have been instances of 100 percent turnout in certain county which is incredibly unlikely very rare if ever would happen unless there is something fraudulent going on now that being said what were seeing here is something that we have not seen in america specifically i mentioned in michigan and wisconsin both of them were looking very very well comfortable in the trunk side up to chew 3 oclock in the morning last night and then suddenly both states had random random trunk loads literally trucks full of the ballots that had not yet been delivered hadnt yet been given and were just randomly found with the exact number just to put biden over the top and thats when the news outlets felt more comfortable to call it for biden so these are the kinds of things in there see now in terms of evidence you are correct and you know id have to now put on my lawyer had instead of my filled american hat here but you have to look at reliable evidence this cant just be coming from one political side or one party im not going to take insist and not going to take into account here on out i mean im sorry i have i have to stop you there were out of time but i would speak about this all day if i could with you thank you very much for joining us legal analyst jennifer de master thank you.
