samudrayaan: After Aditya and Chandrayaan, now India aims to scale depth of oceans with Samudrayaan

Indian scientists are preparing to embark on Project Samudrayaan, an ambitious mission to explore the depths of the ocean in search of precious metals and minerals. The project involves the use of a homegrown submersible called "Matsya 6000," which has been in development for two years. The submersible is designed to withstand the immense pressure at a depth of 6,000 meters and will be tested in early 2024.
