Security Service Charitable Foundation donates $5,000 to the Salvation Army of Colorado Springs Donation to provide meals for people in need SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 14, 2021) — The Security Service Charitable Foundation is partnering with the Salvation Army of Colorado Springs to feed neighbors in need by providing a $5,000 donation. Funds will be used to help fund the Salvation Army’s food pantry, lunch and dinner service, sack lunches and hot meals at the RJ Montgomery Homeless Shelter, mobile feedings for the Emergency Disaster Services’ mobile kitchen, meals for veterans, meals for seniors, and grocery deliveries for people without transportation. “Whenever there is a need in Colorado Springs, you will find the Salvation Army and our partners like the Security Service Charitable Foundation,” said Brett Marie Harrison, marketing and PR director for Salvation Army of Colorado Springs. “Together, we are working to feed thousands of people in the Colorado Springs area. This is a critical service that seeks to not only assist those in need but also help end the cycle of poverty.”
