STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Westbound drivers on Staten Island Expressway should be in for a smoother ride thanks to a new auxiliary lane.
On Thursday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the completion of a new westbound auxiliary lane on the Staten Island Expressway, between the northbound Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway entrance ramp and the South Avenue exit ramp.
