I remember coming to Penn State football games with my family when I was little and always looking at a copy of The Daily Collegian. The Collegian was probably one of my first introductions to journalism as a kid, and I always remember being astonished to find out the newspaper was run entirely by students. As soon as I decided I wanted to go into journalism, I knew I wanted to work for my collegeâs newspaper because of these vague childhood memories I had of looking at a newspaper I knew was made entirely by students.
