The Daily Chase: TSX on a roll; Rosenberg talks markets, crypto
The S&P/TSX Composite Index enters today on a seven-session winning streak after closing at yet another record high yesterday. Pot stocks and energy names dominate the leaders board during this streak, with Aphria leading the way amid a 93.5 per cent surge. Index heavyweight Shopify is no slouch with a gain of almost 31 per cent over just seven trading days. As for what comes next, our market insight gets going this morning with Bay Street veteran Kim Shannon from Sionna Investment Managers at 8:30 a.m. If the TSX closes higher today, it will be the longest stretch of gains since November 2019.
