The Lead The union representing striking dock workers at the Port of Montreal says it will challenge the validity of the federal government’s back-to-work legislation. Michel Murray, a spokesperson for chapter 375 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, called the legislation — which passed the House of Commons early Thursday morning and is scheduled to be addressed in the Senate on Friday — unconstitutional, the CBC reports. The union has also reportedly filed complaints with the International Labour Organization.
