Firefly Music Festival is planning to reduce capacity to about 50,000 fans this fall, state officials said, a reduced capacity that would make it the smallest since the festival's 2012 debut.
But details about other possible COVID-19 related precautions and restrictions have largely been undecided. State health officials will begin the detailed planning process with festival organizers later this month.
A day after Firefly dropped its 93-act lineup featuring headliners Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala and Lizzo, a top state health official spoke with Delaware Online/The News Journal about how the massive Sept. 23-26 camping-and-music event could happen this fall.
