but some of them will be working their way eastwards through the day. and then later in the day, a more persistent spell of rain arriving from the southwest. with the wind strengthening further, we could see gales here, but it will be a very mild day on thursday, particularly where we get some sunshine across central and eastern areas. here's this area of low pressure thursday into friday. notice how it deepens. the isobars get closer together. could potentially be a very windy day across the uk on friday. do keep an eye on the forecast again with that area of low pressure revolving around the uk, we are likely to see showers or longer spells of rain. this is an idea at the moment of the potential wind gusts. some western and southern coast could see those gusts exceeding those values there. and temperatures down slightly from thursday, but still very mild, particularly compared to the beginning part of the week. on into saturday in this area of low pressure is still with us. and the showers and the longer spells of rain still revolving around it. the winds still strong, but they'll start to lose some of the strength that we saw through friday.
