the way that you are able to report. it has become harder for us to work. it's much more challenging to work here as a foreign correspondent. there's no doubt about it. many people are frightened to speak to us. many people have left the country who we used to get comments from. and the constant stream of anti western, anti—british rhetoric in the state media makes us... turns us into the enemy, right? in the eyes of many russians. and ifind that deeply disappointing. if this propaganda drags out from people, from many people here, the most base, the most awful characteristics or features of human character. the hatred, aggression, xenophobia. and that i find very disappointing in a country which i've known for years, as a country where people are warm hearted and hospitable.
