gas. they're not going to be able to set up renewal, they don't have battery storage to do that. they need what's called base load power that is always on. should we not be countering china's efforts to fund coal with american natural gas, which is half the emissions of coal? >> there are places, fareed, in the world, where it is imperative to have power and to transition into power production that is absolutely clean. but not every place is going to be able to do that immediately. so, i would personally and i think as a matter of policy, we would prefer a country to be using gas momentarily if they're not able to deploy renewals. the first choice should be renewal. without any question there are countries now that are at 90% production by renewals. a few at 100%, very few.
