pamela, first to you, walk me through the lethal injection. that seemed to be on the radar of a lot of people. >> absolutely. and today the high court with the conservative majority, ashleigh, ruled a controversial lethal injection drug that was used in the boxed execution of an inmate in oklahoma, clayton locket, does not violate the constitution's eighth amendment of cruel and unusual punishment, this drug is supposed to render someone unconscious so that person cannot feel pain. in response to this, a very fiery descent from justice breyer and justice sotomayor. justice sotomayor says this drug does pose substantial risks and says it is what may be the chemical equivalent of being burned at the stake. in a remarkable move today, ashleigh, four justices weighed in on this case from the bench but, again, they upheld -- the majority upheld the constitutionality of this drug. ashlei ashleigh? >> that's such a thought, the chemical equivalent of being burned at the stake. pamela, thank you for that.
