[david] i took him seriously pretty soon, when he started wiping out one republican contender after another. and he did it because of what seemed to be abnormal in politics, the way he spoke, the insults. he was like an insult comic. rubio, and i call him... all right. i call him little marco, little marco. he assigned them high school-like nicknames. lying ted, like, he's a liar. people were eating it up and nobody knew how to respond. and when they did respond, they were, quote, "going down to his level." donald trump is a jerk. you cannot insult your way to the presidency. you know what they say about men with small hands. you can't trust them. you can't trust them. and then the next thing you knew, they were gone.
