agreed at this point the question is over privilege about what the president said, not whether it was troublesome. >> so matthew talk to me about a whistleblower. is a whistleblower has ever the whistle on a u.s. president? >> i mean, not that i know of. i mean, look. i think we need to consider a bigger issue here is that the self-corrective mechanisms of our government which is what the i.g. is supposed to be working on here that when the administration wants to stonewall congress, the balance of power is supposed to be there isn't working. you think that's where the press comes in. so i'm sure if the whistleblower calls us we would love to hear from him or her. we know almost nothing about it. it's certainly something with the election coming up i think the public would probably want to know and decide who they want to vote for, what kind of government they want. but right now nothing's working inside. >> the president revealed
