[applause] thank you very much, first, let me thank books and books for this terrific opportunity. This is my last book signing of 2013, and its been a tremendous experience. Ive been to santa monica, california, new jersey, atlantic city, new jersey, three different burroughs of new york city, queens, brooklyn, and manhattan. I have been to dallas on november 22, 2013, had a book signing there on the 50th anniversary of the acation nation, and on to johnsons hometown of austin, and i stayed in the hotel in the very room where johnson had rifts with his mistress, and i was roundly ignored by most of the media. The book has become a New York Times best seller. Its an amazon best seller. It is a usa today best seller, and im gratified about that. I have approached this subject as one would approach a Murder Investigation. Indeed, the Murder Investigation should have been conducted in dallas in 1963 and never was. I have come to the conclusion based on enormous amount of research by those who have gone before me, that Lyndon Johnson was the lynch pin of a plot that involved numerous others, and there is, i think, substantial research now, thousands of books have been written, making a strong case for the involvement of the Central Intelligence agency, for the involvement of organized crime, for the involvement of the big texas oil, and, indeed, i make the case that Lynn Don Johnson had a unique relationship with each one of them. Now, lets talk about motive. First of all, its important to remember that in 1960, Lyndon Johnson blackmailed his way on to the kennedy ticket. In fact, we know that president john f. Kennedy or in that point, kennedy, senator john f. Kennedy selected senator stuart of missouri to be his running mate. He asked him, accepted, was writing his acceptance speech, and that night, johnson and House Speaker sam rayburn showed up in Kennedys Hotel room in los angeles late at night and had a file on John Kennedys sex life. This had been supplied to them by Jay Edgar Hoover. Hoover was a next door neighbor of Lyndon Johnsons. He was a close political ally of Lyndon Johnson. He knew the kennedys would put him out to pasture in 1964, so his motive was clear, and in any event, johnsons message for kennedy was, you need me, you need texas, and if you dont put me on the ticket, ill just take this file and give it to dick nixon, they were locked in a skin tight race for president. A reporter was in shock, how do you give up a powerful job in washington, u. S. Senate majority leaders to be Vice President , a job with no power at all, and johnson said, i checked, one in four Vice President have become president of the United States upon the death of the president , and, frankly, im a gambling man, and i like the odds. This is three years before the assassination. Johnson is marginalized by the kennedys, cut out of the Decision Making process, one of the most powerful men in washington to being the least powerful, sent out on the road for funerals and ceremony meetings for foreign president s with no significance, cut out of the loop, as they say. More importantly, in 196 , as the 1964 election approaches, Lyndon Johnson is in desperate trouble. They are in an enormous scandal of the time, bobby baker, was, as i said, presently secretary of the u. S. Senate, but hes johnsons bag man collecting millions of dollars in illegal bribes on behalf of Lyndon Johnson. They are partners in numerous illegal enterprises, and the u. S. Senate opened hearings into bobby baker on november 22, 1963, the very day of the assassination, Lyndon Johnsons neck is on the line. He knows hes under investigation by the u. S. Justice department in the matter of saletice, a wheeler dealer. They lewded millions of dollars from contracts that johnson delivered. Robert kennedy has a full investigation, and more importantly, Robert Kennedy, who wants johnson off the 64 ticket leaked this information to time, and life magazine has reporters on the ground, a hit team, digging into johnsons background for a december 1st expose issue. An issue that will bring Lyndon Johnson, federal prosecution, and prison. Its not just being dumped from the 64 ticket; although, president kennedy tells his secretary according to the memoirs, on the eve of leaving for dallas, he says, johnson will be off the 64 ticket, quote, i dont know who it will be, but it will not be lynn don and goes on to say hes considering North Carolina governor sanford, a mod rail, a southern racial moderate. There inlies the motives. Finding coplotters is not difficult. Lyndon johnson is the appropriator for the cia. Lyndon johnson sits on the secret subcommittee that passes a black box budget which are hidden in our aerospace budgets. The cia cannot function without the hundreds of millions of dollars being delivered by the appropriator of the military industrial complex. Johnson, no defense contract in washington moves without a bribe or Lyndon Johnson. Johnson is the god father of the cia, sits on the committee that formed the cia. When he leaves the senate to be Vice President , he helps install harry f. Byrd, one who oversees the programs of the cia, and then theres organized crime. Their motive . They gave 1 million to john kennedy. They stole votes for kennedy, intimidated voters for him in chicago and in West Virginia and in texas and in other states, and in return, ambassador joseph kennedy, kennedys father, a gangster himself, who is a partner of frank costello, notorious new york mobster, essentially importing scotch by boat into cape cod, trucking it down to new york and selling it, which i think is called bootlegging, he promises the mob boys for a 1 million contribution to help on election day that the two gangsters who run the mob here in missouri and carlos who runs it in texas and louisiana will not be deported. There are slow moving deportation processes that begun under eisenhower that the mobsters are concernedded about. Well, you know the story. Robert kennedy becomes the attorney general. He double crosses the mob, puts wiretaps on them, harasses them. Actually kidnapped carlos, the notorious gangster, flies him to guatemala where he has a phony passport, dumped in the jungle with nothing other than a suit and gucci shoes. Needless to say, he is not happy. Wiretaps uncovered by the House Select Committee on assassination pick them up both talking about the fact that kennedy would be killed prior to murder and taking credit in the case of this after the murder. Lyndon johns relationship with the mob . Carlos, one of the biggest financial supporters. Johnson takes a 155,000 bribe from the mob to protect gambling operations in houston, dallas, and san antonio. Indeed, within 24 hour was johnson becoming president , the wiretaps put on organized crime by Robert Kennedy are terminated by order of the president of the United States. Theres big texas oil. Bay of pigs invasion in which president kennedy failed to order air support for the cuban rebels storming the shores of cuba. Hundreds of men are arrested. Hundreds more killed. Its a fee fiasco. There are upsets about the cuban missile crisis, and i know you can go through the bookstore and find books how the brave kennedy faced russians down, they blinked, and removed missiles from cuba, and it was the closest this nation and world has ever come. It was to the brink the nuclear armageddon. The problem with that is its not true. Forty years later, the kennedy brothers gave up u. S. Missiles in turkey and italy changing the balance of power in the european theater, and that fact was kept from the American People for 40 years. You know what . If reagan did that, he would have been impeached. It was kept from us. The generals and senate and cia knew it. They were unhappy. Why . They were taken to the cleaners in the cuban missile crisis. There was no onsite inspection. Kennedy asked for it, it was refused, and no american, no third party ever con officialed the missiles left cuba. Thats a sorry fact. The cia and mob and texas oil and johnson has motives and unique relationships. Talk about johnson, the man, because very much the book is a portrait of him. Johnson was a course, crude, loud mouthed bully. He was greedy, unprincipled, enormous appetite for cigarettes, alcohol, and women, believed in nothing whatsoever, he was a statist and psychopath and conducted white house meetings sitting on the toilet defecating, not because he was crude, but enjoyed the embarrassment it caused Ivy League Kennedy aids he inherited from jack kennedy. This is a man who fathered three illegitimate children while he was president or Vice President. I their names are in the book, details are in the book. This is a man who, as a child, tied a stick of dynamite to a dog and blew it up. This is a man who beat a mule to death in the town square when he was a teenager. This is someone who is an immoral psychopath. In my book, i tie him to not the murder of jack kennedy, but eight previous murders, murders to cover up corruption, corruption of ethic proportions, biblical proportions. Lyndon johnson would steal a hot stove. Indeed, life magazine finds in 1963 despite the fact hes just a high school teacher, congressman, and u. S. Senator, and been on the public payroll his whole life, hes worth 25 million. Today, thats 150 million. How do bribes work . Simple. Want legislation . Want a contract . Buy fake advertising at johnsons Radio Station in austin, and the advertising never runs, but thats where you pay the bribe. I have been active in american politics for where i have never seen an election after the polls, marching, signing in in the same hand writing, same ink, but thats what happened in Jim Wells County. Lyndon johnson stole the first election by a fraudulent vote adding 200 votes to the rolls at the end. When sam southwick, a Deputy Sheriff in Jim Wells County threatened to go to the u. S. I believe that the real killer, at least one of the shooters of johnson is a man named malcolm mac wallace. He is a marine expert shot. Now, youre going to read that oswald was a marksman. Thats the u. S. Marine corp. s lowest rating. A marksman is a poor shot. A sharp shooter is a b, and the arating is the best awarded as expert. Mall come wallace was an expert. Not from president of the student body at the university of texas, and from that point on, every job he had is a political patriots job arranged for by Lyndon Johnson in. 1952, pardon me, 1951, a man named john douglas gets intimately involved with johnsons sister who is a flamboyant bisexual bohomian girl and sometimes a call girl who works in austin at a very famous whore house tas. He is essentially blackmailing him, and shes deeply involved in the campaign in 1948. She knows how it was stolen. He tries to blake mail johnson. Malcolm wallace drives from washington, d. C. Johnson wholes up in a hotel room near the courthouse awaiting word, and Malcolm Wallace is convicted of first degree murder whereupon the judge, a johnson man, gives him a fiveyear suspicion seasons and walks out of court a free man. I checked, in 1952, every other person convicted of firstdegree murder in texas goes to the electric chair, but instead, wallace works for a company immediately called temco, a defense Court Reporter owned by a man named hd byrd, a major financial donor of Lyndon Johnson and the man who owns the Texas School Book depository building. Malcolm wallace leaves a fringier print in the 6th floor snipers nest, a 34point match fingerprint and requires 7 points to be admissible. We have fingerprint evidence tieing johnsons personal hitman to the room which which the shot at the president was allegedly fired. We also have six witnesses who tell either the fbi or the Dallas Police department or the War Commission that they saw movement in the 6th floor windows just prior to the shooting. In fact, three of the six tell the authorities that they saw two men, and they describe a man who is heavy set, balding, and wearing glasses. Thats Malcolm Wallace. One man, richard card, tells the fbi that hi not only saw a man meeting wallaces description in the window, but saw the same man running out of the building after the shooting, jump in a late model rambler, and drive away. That was a major mistake on cars part because between 196378, theres no less than four attempts on mr. Cars life. Someone tried to shoot him in texas. He moved to montana. Somebody tried to shoot him in montana, tried to bomb his car in montana, and moves back to washington, d. C. , but when hes subpoenaed on the House Elect Committee as late as 1978 going to washington, he was tried to be gunned down in the street in washington, d. C. What did he see thats important . He saw lbjs hitman leave the building. Lee Harvey Oswald weighs 135 pounds and 26 years old, but three witnesses describe a middleaged man, heavy set, balding, and wearing glasses m indeed, horn rimmed glasses two out of the three say. Now you have eyewitness testimony and a finger print that ties Lyndon Johnson. Why is oswald . On the second floor where he said he was. The warrant Commission Says that a Dallas Police officer finds him 75 minutes after the last shot. They asked us to believe that oswald had time to hide a rifle and run down four flights of stairs because the elevators cut off as electricity is down in the building. Indeed, as i say in the book, a woman, mrs. Butler, says she was on the stairs at that crucial time and saw, and more importantly, heard no lee Harvey Oswald because its a wooden staircase in the 20s. If anyone was on it, theyd hear that. It explains when oswald approached by a Police Officer is not emotional, but sipping on a cocacola because hes on the second floor eating lunch when Malcolm Wallace shoots at least one of the shots. Now, i conclude that there are more than one shooter. I think theres a shooter on the grassy knoll, may be a shooter in another building. Now, who else says Lyndon Johnson is involved . Well, its interesting. Jackie kennedy, shes never satisfied with what shes told by warren, goes to french intelligence asking them. They conduct a full investigation and publish it. What do they conclude . Lyndon johnson is the perp. Theres a declassified memo in 1996 from hoover to president johnson letting him know an american spy has reported that the soviets kgb conducted their investigation, and what did they conclude . Lynn don johnson is the key figure in the murder of john kennedy. E. Howard hunt, clearly a crair operative throughout his career says on the death bed, okay, i was in dallas that day, low level, but he says Lyndon Johnson was running the show. Jack ruby, never allowed to speak to reporters. The warrant Commission Says jack ruby had no known organizations with organized crime. Thats a laughable joke. Carlos owns jack rubys club. Ruby is fronting in the Carousel Club for carlos, running a strip club at the sufferanec, runs guns, had a criminal record of working for al capone. Hes a button man for the mob. The war on Commission Asks you to believe he had no known connections, and felt bad about mrs. Kennedys plight. In fact, if you go to youtube, you can see actual footage, jack ruby, pulledded down a hallway in cuffs by two prisers and a reporter shouts, jack, jack, how could this happen . Ruby says, if stevenson was president , this never would have happened. Reporter says, jack, what do you mean . What are you saying . Look at the man in there now, the man at the top. Thats Lyndon Johnson. Senator barry goldwater, he knew it was Lyndon Johnson. Robert and jackie kennedy, they knew it was Lyndon Johnson. Robert kennedy sends an imstair, william wallton, an artist, a friend of jackie kennedys, one of the first openly gay men in america. He goes to the soviet union where he has cultural relationships, meeting with the kgb giving a message of the kennedys. One, they say, we know that john kennedy was killed by a domestic conspiracy, meaning the russians had nothing to do with it. Two, they said, dallas was the Perfect Place for the crime, and, three, the elevation of Lyndon Johnson is unfortunate and a grievance problem. They knew. Robert kennedy tells his assistant i know exactly what happened, but theres nothing i can do about it now, which is true because despite the fact that he still has the title of the attorney general, the power has shifted to Lyndon Johnson. Im not a lawyer, but read the book, put it down, and say guilty, guilty as hell. I think that it is an overwhelming place against Lyndon Johnson as the greeks say, the person who derives the greatest benefit from the crime is the person who committed it. Lyndon johnson is the lynch pin to the crime. Why . Because in 1963, murder is not a federal crime. It is a state crime. The investigation is conducted by the Dallas Police department, shall haves officer, and district attorney. Really . How come the guns dont match the revolver hes arrested with in the theater. Simple. Answer that, the truth is i believe the kill was automatic and oswald was holding a revolver when arrested, and read the fbi report, they cant match the bullets. Government relies on one witness who they say oswald kill him. Its unreliable. Others contradict that and they are not by the commission. It is unlikely. I suspect he was on the way to kill oswald. So the other thing we know thats interesting is voice stress terminology that is available today, when you test the statements of lee Harvey Oswald such as i didnt kill anyone, that test is true. Reporter yells, did you shoot the president of the United States, he says, no, sir, i did not. That test is true. Hes exactly what he says he is. The other thing thats interesting, of course, is that the members of war and commission do not believe their report. We know from a taped telephone call of russell and johnson an the day that the commissioner report is released, and russell, a man of enormous integrity, says, i dont believe a word of it, and johnson says, either do i. Johnson goes on and interviews Walter Cronkite and says there was an International Conspiracy to kill john kennedy. Truth is, neither the russians nor the cubans have motives at that time. We know that john kennedy did two things to engrange the military industrial come pleption. First of all, hes concluded that vietnam is a disaster, and he signed an executive order to begin the withdrawal of our 16,000 advisers in vet nawm. Monday after hes president , johnson signs a new executive order reversing that. Giving the generals and the defense contracts as a war they want. Now, for a long time, i did not think that was true. I thought that was liberal bull, that we were just burnishing the imhaj of camelot, and in the oral history of 196 4, asked about the history of vietnam, he says, absolutely not. President kennedy was committed to fighting communism. We believe in the theory. We were not leaving. Robert kennedy lied about a lot, and i think hes lying about this. The overwhelming documentation is that jfk was moving us towards the exits in vietnam. The kennedy assassination is not about that as much as it is about cuban policy. The cia proposes something called operations northwood. Northwoods, killing americans American Military killing americans blaming it on the cubans as a false flag to create a pretext to invade cuba. Jack kennedy vetoes the crazy plan, but i argue the murder of cone dissolving may have been the ultimate manifestation of the plan. As johnson goes to Great Lengths to blame the cubans. Was there a hit team in tampa and kennedys Campaign Appearance was canceled because of that, or is that wrong . I think they canceled the motorcade putting him at risk, but in both cases, secret service learned of attempts and changes made to the president s schedule to avoid exposure, but there is no way to avoid the fact that in dallas, secret service acts in a very strange way. I personally have been involved in 13 trips on behalf of president s of the United States, and i i understand that there is a process involved in mapping out the president s visit to any major city. It is important to recognize that it is lip don johnson insisting kennedy come to dallas. This speaks to means. Indeed, kennedy tells senator george, the florida senator, in his memoirs, three days before coming here, hes going to texas to johnsons insistence and dreads it. John connelly, the governor of texas and property jay of johnson insists on the drive to the plaza, and when the men, notably jerry bruno, chief advancement, doesnt like the route because the 120degree turn into the plaza requires the car to come to am a complete halt, putting the chief executive in danger, hes overruled by knock saying, you tell the president , its our way or the invitation is resends, and we dont want it. Ride with the president. Jfk says no. They have a shouting match. Johnson storms away. How do we know . Jackie kennedy has written about it. It is very clear that johnson creates the opportunity to kill john kennedy, and i think that there is the cia and the mob working together seam leslie in the efforts to assassinate castro. This is not a new partnership. Its an old partnership. Another question. Do you think that the murder of report kennedy was also a conspiracy or individual . No, i think these are connect the. This is why i say that. First of all, in the book, i report that frank, robert ken 2keus press secretary, a friend of mine for many years, is confirming that four days before the murder in california, Robert Kennedy told a student audience to a reinvestigation in the murder of his brother, sending chills to those involved. Secondarily, i think that there is some evidence that the los angeles Police Department botches this investigation. I think there may be multiple gunman. I think that that was a real threat to the those who killed jfk. I think its essentially the same people. Heres the other are reason i say that. Carter burden, carter burden was a very wellknown aristocratic democrat from new york coming from a wealthy family, ran for congress, a major sociallittle, close friend of jackie kennedys, and she calls carter burden and says, they have bobby too. They caught bobby too. I think its the same people, by the way, its relatessed to the fact that doctor martin king, and shortly before the murder telling the socialist hell endorse kennedy for president in 1968. He knows the role king played in 1960 basically tips the election from nixon to john kennedy in the skin tight race. I suspect that that is also a factor in his murders. I am very im dopily interested in the Robert Kennedy murder. I was an admirer in many ways, and that definitive store not yet told either. Yes, sir . Can you describe to us what was like to be at daly plaza on november 22 . Surreal. First of all, the plaza is much, much smaller than you picture it. Its very compact. It was there were literally first of all, its important that the city close the site down to the average citizen for a long period of time. They did so to control the messages of the comemtive service. They did not want this to be about questions regarding the assassination. It was billed as a celebration of John Kennedys life.
