coverage of the war on ukraine. let's get back to our co-anchor jonathan hunt. jonathan, one of the things i found fascinating about the past twenty four hours is the fact that these peace talks, the cease fire talks didn't break up. they just were stalled. they paused. and one of the reasons is because apparently these various diplomats wanted to clarify language, wanted to get the language precise and if history is any indication, trying to clarify the language is always a hopeful sign in these types of events. and we're all obviously looking for a glimmer of hope here. tristán, you hit the nail on the head. that is the glimmer of hope that they wanted to work on real details of whatever is coming out of those talks, whatever agreement we might get . so perhaps later today we will see some sort of step forward, some sort of ray of hope for everybody in ukraine and indeed
