bridges and roads. congressman, is blocking the president's agenda more important than helping the people of your state? >> look, we put together over $450 billion infrastructure bill with roads, bridges, ports, waterways, all the things you're talking about. that's not where they want to go. by the way, in this package they have language that tells the corps of engineers they can't do projects if it benefits the oil and gas industry. in my state, south louisiana, there are a lot of oil and gas jobs. we produce a lot of energy for the country. the kind of lack wedge would make it -- language would make it unlikely we would get projects in our state. a lot of state are in the energy industry. they seem to hate american energy, fossil fuel based, essentially, while they beg opec to produce more oil and they're letting russia build pipelines. they're shutting off pipelines and energy production here. the language is in the package of bills. i wish it was out. i wish they would negotiate with
