Canada, they would sell the fish and lobster to canada for nothing, for peanuts, and then canada would sell it to china and also to the European Union. Not one person in this country that needed a ventilator didnt get the ventilator. So every Single Person that needed one got one which is pretty amazing. We have a big country with a lot of diversity. And now we are making thousands of ventilators, supplying them to the rest of the world because theyre not equipped to make a ventilator. Very complex, very expensive, making thousands a month, all we can use. Now biden wants to lock all americans in their basements for months on end which would inflict permanent irreversible harm on our nations children, health, and economy. A big week coming up here the president hating the economy and jobs and going after joe biden repeatedly there. At this hour, real clear average has biden leading some seven points in minnesota. It has brought up six and a half points but they have ten electoral votes up for grabs. I think tonight, you will see that the whole message and fame tonight as we the people. This is not about joe biden. Its not about senator harris. Its about every American Family. Hits about those 160,000 plus families that lost somebody to the covid19. Its about those 5 million plus families that have had somebody infected. Thats what this race is about. No, i dont. I think President Trump was in denial about having a Virtual Convention for so long that it put him behind the eight ball. He went from North Carolina to jacksonville to whoever would let him host and inperson rally no matter how irresponsible that was, so i think that they are behind the curve but i think they have the money and the wherewithal to produce a good convention but i dont think it would be in response to us or maybe they will learn some technical things to do, but for the most part, i think they will just be two independent for who should be president. I think cedric richmans point is they are going to deliver a very serious message absent the pageantry that you would normally have on the Convention Floor . The pageantry is really important. This is the difference between always talking about the difference between the state of the union and the state of the union response. They have all the pomp and circumstance and the response of the crowd and where someone is talking into a tv camera, thats what we will see you tonight and throughout the week. As a speechwriter who has spent a lot of time working on Convention Speeches and state of the union addresses, one thing you do is keep massaging the speech to get the applause line so theres no applause, no crowd. It is midaugust, and what i want to viewers at home to know is that 270 is needed to win the presidency and at the moment, 13 states are in grave. 13 states we think. Give them georgia. See how the numbers change. Won florida by 100,000 votes. Maybe he defends that. North carolina by three and a half percentage points, ohio by seven and a half, now hes at 242 votes. Upper midwest here, if he defends iowa and holds arizona, he is at 259. Even with that scenario, he has to win somewhere up here where he is campaigning on the minnesota today, wisconsin a bit later. So does he hold michigan . If he does, he wins a second term. He doesnt, can he pick up wisconsin . Even if he does that, with pennsylvania out of the mix, youd have to find electoral votes up here in New Hampshire perhaps to get to 270. The point being, pennsylvania in this scenario holds Critical Mass when it comes to winning in 2020. Given his margin in 2016, he can win one of those states and still have enough to win the election but cant lose more than one and that assumes to your point that he holds arizona and North Carolina which right now are trailing in the states, so the one state you mentioned pennsylvania which is critical, the one if you look at the map, if he loses florida, its over and as you said was a one point state and the battle is on there. So keep an eye on florida and pennsylvania, those are going to be two of the most crucial states. Bill you can come up with 100 different scenarios and we shall over the next 75 plus days. What do you believe is the impact in 30 seconds or less of a virtual i dont think it is actually i dont think these conventions are going to matter much, and certainly not much historically.
