most wellknown of all of them. But this build the wall was so central. He made the promise and he Needs Congress to deliver. What democratic constitutional way of thinking about this. He is an election that is 50 50. His chances of keeping the house. He needs a signature issue. Immigration is one issue he has not delivered on, at least formally. But he does not have the votes. Even with the Republican Party doesnt have the votes to build the wall. He also knows if you shut down the government the people that propose that idea get blame. His own people do not want him to do that. He has to square that circle to get people energized. Steve if it doesnt happen, it further undermines peoples faith. A big promise made. I think four out of five people will vote for him that voted for him in 2016. But he needs five out of five. He needs to get them all on board. Maybe if he did an Executive Order and said anybody in the United States who is here illegally, whether residing here illegally cannot send money back to a foreign country without 10 tax on it. One of the biggest problems is the money differential. Incumbents have these gigantic chests and newbies come in and have not a lot of anything. They really do have to fund raise. You have someone who might have millions of dollars in a war chest and some new person has to really raise money every day to be remotely competitive. That alone becomes problematic. I would suggest, may be a good
way to start and i think its a great conversation, there are already only working two or three days per week. If its about going to work, maybe we need to make them work like the average american. At least five days a week. Instead of a monthlong vacation, maybe it is a two or three week vacation per year. They would be working i can raise money. Frankly, a lot of people think Congress Working and passing legislation is not a good idea. We need to pass less but better. Lets not mistake volume with quality. I agree with what tammy said. I also have a piece of legislation calling do your job back. This would mean that they cannot go into recess without doing general order.
