with our own family. i was along to hire my own school s preschool teacher. who passed a background process. and found things that the statewide screening missed, protective orders against the child care worker, eviction notices that weighed on her character. things that we would never bring that sbrod our home and that s why we started this service to be able to provide a safe community for families. here s the excuse we re getting from the accused. charged with battery. jeannine campbell. she was maat parents. took it out on the baby. and also says she admits to spanking the child before but this was the first instance of abuse. another facebook comment, this from amy writing, locker up so she can try that with somebody her own size, basically. do you think that this swam bully, wendy? absolutely. i think she s lie, might be, i m sorry. this was not the first time it happened. it was the first time it was caught on video and i m sorry to say at she was a victim herself as a child. i can guarantee it. and what turns people. when you spank babies tall does is teach them how to hit and when you physically abuse children that usually points directly back to early childhood abuse themselves. yeah. but that s not forgiving her for this. this was a crime. it was. one more let s go back to adrienne. the nanny cam helped uncover this. do you advise parents to get that? is that is that a safety net all need? i just really think the nanny cam should be used in a totally different way. you should have the camera out in the open and let the sitter know that it s there. use it as a productive tool so that the families know that they re getting the most productivity out of their sitter while in their home. don t hide it and let the children be the victim of something happening in the home. put it out in the open and let it work for the family. okay, so not secret about did, whoever you have hired, we have a camera? there s some amazing two-way cameras these days where you can watch the kids at the home from your smartphone and check in throughout the day. let the sitters know, hey, i m going to be checking in. and watch for me. they re going to be on their best behavior all day long and you ll get that feedback from them that things are going great at the house. adrienne, thanks for the advice, great stuff. wendy, thanks for your unseitz as well. coming up tiger woods answering some tough questions. so out of nowhere he begins to answer uestions. gives an interview to espn, to the golf channel, this again, four month after the scandal broke. here s part the interview that he did with espn s tom rinaldi. what reception are you expecting from fans. i don t know. i don t know. i m a little nervous about that, to be honest with you and that s how much do you care? it would be nice to hear a couple claps here and there. hey, if you ask me, that was one the more real moments he had in these two interviews. he broke character a little bit, it wasn t as scripted, he was humble, he the right tone. what do you think, did he score points with you or not, call in 1-877-tell-hln. so tiger woods finally answering some questions. talking to reporters in interviews that aired just last night. some of them surprid. first spoke to espn, the golf channel, five minutes each. not a lot time. now, there were moments of honesty. also moments where it looked rehearsed, again. take a lift penn these are clips from both interviews asking tiger woods, what he s learned about himself in rehab, how he lost his way. what did you see? i saw a person i never thought i would become. who was that. well, i had gotten away from my core values as i said earlier i got away from my buddhism and i quit meditating. i quit doing all the things that my mom and dad taught me. how did things get so out of control? going against your core values. losing sight of them. i quit medatin i quit being a buddhist. okay, what does he does he sound like a broken record to you or a broken man? call in 1-877-tell-hln. back with us, rafer weigel, orts anchor morning express with robin meade catch him every morning. you look at this and i was somewhat puzzled when i heard about it. what s strategy here? number one, i think, anyway. number one, you can say, now i answered questions. number two, you can kind of take the air out of what may happen out of augusta. just to say, hey, some these questions have already been answered. just, again the furrey of augusta may be rafer. reporter: i thought that he did just enough and right now he can say i ve already answered these questions and at augusta national, now when people ask these questions, he can say i ve already spoken to you but a five-minute interview, you re right, mike, this was the most candid ve ever seen tiger woods in the 14 years he s been on the tour. my jaw dropped when i heard him actually answer question, why did you get married? but even tom rinaldi who did the interview from espn and he covers woods on the tour, said he did not say enough to end these questions. these questions are going to still keep coming. but he was candid enough that he came across more sympathetic. the more that the media peppers him the more that he may come across as a vctim in the case. maurice, you look at this strategy, again baffling to me again, anyway. because sports fan, pretty much locked in on the college basketball tournament. news people were watching the health care. and so why do you roll this out if you re tiger woods and ter woods people. well it s a classic pr strategy. you break the news when everyone else is watching else so you get credit for having it out there but you don t become the headline of the day even as it was with those big stories this wastill big news and he did, he got that side of the story. he did the tough interviews that he knew he had to do so we could focus, hopefully on his golf game. and really what tiger needs to do is putt very well and that will do him the most good. that s a good point there. if he plays lights out at augusta and then we re all talking golf again, as much, or more than his personal tribulations. lets listen a little bit here. let s get the part, again, about where tom rinaldi s pressing him, as he s what did you see as you lookedn the mirror, basically is where tom s going with this. let s listen to tiger woods response. it was tough. it was really tough. to look at yourself in a light that you never want to look at yourself that s pretty brutal. what did you see? i saw a person that i thought i would never become. who was that? well, i had got away from my core values as i had said earlier i got away from my buddhism. i quit meditating. i quit doing all of the things that my mom and dad taught me. okay, i will take us to break and get everybody s response coming out of it. what i see there is, okay, that s fine. but you had the opportunity to win me over there. tom rinaldi asked, what did you see as you looked in the mirror? that s a place for him to be open and authentic. and give me that quote of i don t know, i never thought give me something specific. something that i could really chew on. take me there, tiger, and he didn t do that. he spun out of it into a talking pot about core values. that s where he kind of lost me, he could have hit the home run and didn t. we ll hear from our experts. i want to hear from you. call in 1-877-tell-hln. we ll have that sitdown talk and it won t be just one time, i know that. it will be numerous times and i take full ownership of it. i did it. no one else did it, it was just me. that s the responsibility i will have. i will talk to my kids, for however long they want to talk about it. that is a conversation that will need to be had. well, tiger woods interview with the golf channel. and that was a good moment there. as a father having to deal with this, for who knows how long, or how many years to come face to face and tll your children about it. take your calls 1-877-tell-hln. brian s with us from texas. brian, your thoughts? caller: yes. i just wanted to say, that, you know, looking at the guy. the guy s drained. he s sorry. yeah, he got caught and that s what it took. but i mean, the divorce rate is a staggering 50% in america. so obviously, be most of that has to do with affairs. give the man a break. he he s out there to entertain. there you go. caller: he s my favorite golfer. brian, thanks for the call. laura, he had the right,f demeanor, didn t he? he seemed contrite, right, humble, right? yeah, i think his facial expressions, his whole demeanor was really right on target. and he did. he didn t say anything new. he didn t break any new ground but he said it, he answered questions in his own words in his own voice and that was very important. he also lucked out, i will add that jesse james now taken over the title of the world s worst husband of 2010. and let me tell you, this does help tiger. and you knew this was coming. someone else with a big name was going to get in trouble. and it, unfortunately, for sandra bullock was jesse james. all right, laura, i didn t think of that but laura makes a good point, rafer. speak to that mike. as far as the timing of it, a lot of us have said why does it take this man so long to address this, but if you think about it it is brilliant on his handlers for them to space everything out like they have, giving so little over such a period of time. the media s been talking about it so much. you heard that caller. the leave, tiger alone, course has reached tiger woods chorus a cacophony of the britney spears lines, to lift alone. but people on tour will stick up for him because of that. and laura, he hits the home run with me if he takes me one step further. what is your low point, and why not take me there? i mean, with the specific of like saying i could not believe the look of my mom s eye, tom? i don t think we could get there for you or anyone else in the media. he never could give them enough. if he does five minutes, they want ten minutes. the only thing that could satiate them is if a camera followed him around like the kardashians, but the big thi is that he did not blame the media. he said it was my fault and took all of the blame. that is why he is getting all of the sympathy, and that is why maybe the media looks bad and not tiger woods. he could walk out of there smelling like roses. well, let me say, yet, he could have what he did was fine. i understand the strategy and a fine performance. but, yet, for me, anyway and i will speak for me personally, if you take that one step, the take me in, the look in elin s eyes or your mom s eyes and i don t need to know the details, but the one nugget. rafer, i will let you wrap it up. and we had ari fleisher coaching him on it, and why not, because these were big allegations here. but fleisher has said he has taken himself out of the mix now. okay. rafer, thank you, and we will be all over this. rafer will be in augusta. laura, thank you. a parent alert. there were six rapes reported in the first week of spring break, daytona beach, florida. six. those were the reported cases, and image inhow many not reported yochlt stru booze and the hormones and kids are putting themselves in dangerous situations. is it time that parents now say no to spring break? plus, disturbing images of a babysitter accused of slapping an 11-month-old boy throwing a bottle at his little head. threw it so hard, it knocked him over. it was caught on a hidden cam ranld a we are thankful that the little guy was not hurt. but as a parent, you are terrified this would happen to you. you can call in 1-877-tell-hln or text us to hlntv and start your text with the word prime. this is hour two of prime news. i m mike galanos. we started out the news with a story that scared me as a parent. you, too, as you hear the details. spring break and we know that kids are going the drink, but this is worse an ever. police at daytonaeach say that six rapes were reported, and the youngest victim was 14 years old. now all but one case involved drugs and alcohol. half of the victims were unconscious. shouldn t this make us stop and rethink spring break? look at the video here posted on youtube what we are dealing with. yep, here it goes. here it goes. is that what it has become? a wild, wild party, dangerous for our kids, and booze by the pool and half-naked girls and kids drinking themselves into oblivion until they black out? parents, is that okay with you? call in. 1-877-tell-hln. we ll get into the specifics of what s going on at daytona beach and talk about this on a larger scale as well. also this, it is brutal to with us is wendy nix and our law enforcement expert mike brooks and david salvo. what is this? we have six reported rapes in a week and they say that 35% of all rapes are reported, so we could be in upwards of 30 if at is true. what is going on here? yeah, that is exactly right. according to the fbi crime statistics only 37% of the sexual assaults are reported to the police. as of today, i discussed with suzie williams, the head of a rape crisis center in daytona said they had ten cases reported to them, but only six to the police. rape victims are not only gated to report to the police. they can report directly to the rape crisis center, so that the number is higher and as you said, what we know from the statistics, it is no doubt high ir th er than what has been reported already. this is the daytona beach who describes one of the attacks. girl meets guy, and goes to bar with him, and goes home with him, and wakes up to find out they had sex. because she is drunk does not give you the right to have zx here. well, speaking to mike brooks here, hits on a couple of points, but i am sure these are hard to investigate, because he makes a great point as well, that because a girl has drank too much, does not give anybody the right to take advantage of that, but on law enforcement front? well, the chief is right. a lot of times and i have heard it before, and both of them say, what happened? then they report it to police that the girl was raped, and mike, in three of the cases involving 14-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old, they are not cooperating with the investigators, so it is basically, look, the rape didn t happen if there no complainant, and even if you have complaint and you are not going cooperate with the investigators the case is unfounded. and a lot of times people don t want to report it, because they have a girlfriend or boyfriend at home or a husband, and they ju don t want any publicity about it. but the whole bottom line here, mike, parents have to educate their kids on how the act. and then, again, there is a lot of patients who are probably living vicariously through their kids, sure, go ahead. but they have to remember that law enforcement and lifeguards are not babysitters, too. bring wendy walsh in on this, a parent, herself, and i was reading her blog, parents.com. and this is way too dangerous and way too wild, and there has to be something better to do on spring break. well, maybe our kids would be okay, because we are doing what we are supposed to do is to give them internal moralings and values. things to look for is your child a risk-taker or have they experimented with drugs and cohol, and is your child popular? because they will le the peer norm, and if they are negative, the popular kids will lead them into hell, as i say, so look at these points before you decide whether or not to send them off for spring eak. mike and i are both nodding on that one. curtis? caller: my comment would be that i have worked at beaches before and maybe more police would help, but definitely what would help is that you need a sober person, and there are somebody, a group of two girls have a guy there. so who can help these people. you make a good point. reporter: and a party, but we have to know our limits. well, you make a good point about the buddy system, by it seems like in these cases that when it is someone who is alone they are more vulnerable. one of the attackers 26-year-old had sex in a corridor with a young woman unconscious. mike brooks we talked to one of the captains at the daytona beach police last hour a they say what you are saying, you can t be everywhere. what can the law enforcement do to make the experience safer for the kids. well, the law enforcement puts it out there of the parents of the kids coming down there, hey, your kids should do this or that, and, again, you try to stay with the friends or the buddies and don t go anywhere alone, but, mike, when yo mix alhol and drugs and hormones as we had in the opening with no common sen, and with everybody, maybe as wendy was talking about, you know, the popular kids leading the good ki. oh, we are going to talk about you when you get back, because u did don this or that, again, lead them right do primrose pat and then they come home that they are done something they are sorry for. a recipe for disaster and isn t it time to rethk the traditions of the kids for spring break and lead them to the path of heck like wendy says. call in. welcome back to prime news on hln. we are talking about a disturbing trend and disturbing numbers. daytona beach, over a week now we are hearing of six reported rapes and could be more, because the rape crisis center saying it could be ten. we are taking your calls, 1-877-tell-hln. jason is with us in florida. your thoughts? caller: yeah, they sould ban it altogether, because of the rapes and everything, but they bann it in ft. lauderdale when they went to the strip, they had cops everywhere. they had cops on the horses, o bi bicycles and no indens of people getting raped like that. when is enough for enough? back to david disalvo. what are people saying? matter of money to bring the tourist dollars n and if it is happening, it is okay i don t say it is okay but what is the pressure? well, there is some pressure with the down economy to keep the numbers increased for spring break. they rin kreare increased, beca enforcement is saying they are experiencing 30% higher spring breakers this year than last, and that not what they expected. they have people at the hotels and the bars and the establishments are under a lot of pressure to move the product, which is alcohol. they will do what they need to do to make it happen. obviously, they have a financial incentive to do so, and right. it just sounds bad to me that the almighty dollar is elevated above the safety of our kids. mike brooks, as david is saying, what is the normal population of daytona beach is 66,000, and david, what is the population, 100,000? well, the projecon is between 100,000 and 200,000 peopledditional on top of the 66,000. mike, how do you keep everybodsafe? well, it is tough. as law enforcement, they weren t expecting the crowds, so they will have to do mutual aid to get cops from other jurisdictions to help, but it is late now, because they have to make plans themselves for other departments that are leggett their men and women go down to help daytona beach, and volusia county. it is really tough. you have spring break and then bike week and other things like regular vacation that comes up, but mike, when these things happen, you have the liquor companies and hotels yeah, they want this money. hey, bring your money to daytona beach, but you cannot check your brain at home before you come there. that is the way it is marketed. we tell the kids to check your brain at the door and it is not spring break unless you do something stupid and, mike, you talked about the recipe for disaster. you have t booze, and you know underaged drinking is going on here and what is the message? the women are treated like pieces of meat, and the guys expect, that and it is a horriblehorrible recipe. anita is with us from alabama. any thoughts? caller: well, my son and girlfriend just got back from spring break and it is dependent on what they are taught. my son is known in the dorm as the sober one, because he doesn t drink and he takes people home. so i didn t have any problems with him going to spring break and his girlfriend, because they don t drink. but this is something that you teach your kids early. you wer t concerned for his safety at all? caller: no. he did not go to daytona beach, but he went to a beach in alabama and a concert and all of this, but he never drinks, and it is something that he does not do. well, anita, we are thankful for sons like yours to behe sober one to hopefully keep some of the friends and those around him safe. guys, great conversation, and david and mike, thank you. coming up, health care passes in the house. you are passionate about it. more on that is coming up. well, a monumental health care bill just passed. and many of you are so passionate about it, both sides. protesters gathered in washington yesterday. taken seems like people love it or hate it. not a lot of middle ground. here s just a sample of what some of you are saying. it is exactly what we all wanted, no. but it s your foot in the door, and we need wneed something for people who work who can t get health care, mainly the children. one bill from hospital could sink you financially for the rest of your life or your children s life. i think it takes away our basic freedoms and liberties. it ll destroy undermine health care, it ll undermine medical research and investment. and basically force citizens who have done nothing illegal to be in violation of the law. all right. we still have a long way to go, but what does this mean for you right now? what changes could you see in the very near future? we will take the calls. 1-877-tell-hln. read your facebook comments and questions. so dive in, the water is fine. and we know a loof you are swimming in it. you want to get your thoughts out there. ali velshi s with us. chief business correspondent f the sister network, cnn and arthur of the book give me my money back. ali, have you ever seen anything like this, the fervor around this? no. not only in the house last night, that was something to see, but people following suit yesterday and today. yeah, it is really something else. look, it s the biggest social legislation we ve had since, you name, it civil rights or social security. it s a very, very big deal. and as you said, people are either against this or for it. increasingly, as people learn more about it, they re moving toward the middle. let me just show you t quick polls that reuters i m sorry gallup poll did. 20% of our respondents who favored health care reform did so because of the number of people who are uninsured. they thought that was too much. less than almost one-third of that wanted health care reform, because they said costs are out of control. about 18%, said the system is broken. and 12% say, it s a moral responsibility to provide health care. those are people who are pro-health care. let s just look at the same poll, asking people who are against it, why they were against it. the number one thing on that list is, will raise the cost of insurance. then the same number of people say it does not address real problems. 8% say they need more information. 8% are against big government. so you would think, mike, by hearing everything we hear on tv that the real opposition to this is just being against big government, but it really is about cost and access. and what has happened now is people have realized that their insurance, if you get it through work, was going up anyway. this bill deals with the number of people who arnot insured, it does not fully deal with the increasing costs of heal care. so that is a big problem that we still to deal with. okay. let s hit on that. christie writes this facebook, what will happen to the people that do have health insurance, our premiums will go up! that s an exclamation point. that is what she is thinking. is she right or wrong? she s right and it has nothing to do wi this bill. your health care bills are going up, and we have been studying this for a long time. health care is going up at a much faster rate than inflation is and health care premiums are going up about the same rate. 7% or 8% if you re insured through a big company, like you and me, mike. if you are through a small company it could be 10% or anywhere from 40% to 50%. that s right. she is right, your health care presumes were ing up, they were going up anyway. one more and a break. tammy writes this question. what does it mean for people on medicare, what does it mean for the elderly? ali, winners or losers in this. they re winners because something called a doughnut hole where some of your prescription benefits are paid for and after a certain level they re not paid for and then you have to spend another $1,700 before they get paid for again. this bill aims to fill that, what they call the medicare doughnut hole. generally speaking, for people whcan t afford insurance or weren t able to get it in using medicaid, this insurance policy is good. this is harmful not harmful, but it hurts the hardest earners highest earners the most, because we are paying for this, and that is how you pay for this bill. that is who it hurts the worst. more for from you coming up, we ve got calls line upped, more facebook questions for ali. this is so disturbing, a nanny locked up for the unthinkable. parents trusted this lady. 53 years owed. she looks innocent enough. the video i saw, make you sick to your stomach. dddddddd welcome back to prime news on hln. this is hoifying. police in jacksonville, florida, have charged a babysitter with battery on a child. the video s so disturbing we caot show it to you. changefully, parents uncovered it. we can show you the pictures. and i have to warn you, even those are difficult to see. what happens here a 53-year-old woman is accused of throwing you can see her arm in motion she s throwing a sock, ball, at this 11-month-old baby, who s innocently sitting on the living room floor. she violently picks him up. you see that picture there. it looks like a doll. that is a baby, everybody. the baby s father saw some of this footage. what they noticed is a mom and dad was the baby being neglected then they had to go back and see some the alleged abuse. let s listen. i mean you would have never thought this would have come out this lady but the video does not lie. it was extremely difficult. my wife started watching for it the first few moments and then she couldn t watch anymore, and that s when we went ahead and called the police and got them involved. thankfully, the baby was not seriously injured. there were some bruises. 53ear-old jeannine campbell behind bars. locked up, $7,500 bond. referred to the family through friends. she had listed her main employer as a local church. seemed to be on the up-and-up. with the family a couple of years. you look at, this were their warning signs? what did the parents miss, if anything? and what can we do as parents to protect our kids? many times we are more transient now and we don t have family looking after the kids and we need a babysitter we can trust, and it sends chills down our spines to see a story like this. 1-87tell-hln s the number. back with us wendy walsh, clinical psychologist and get more of hear thoughts as always, momlogic.com. also with adrienne kallweit. tulsa, oklahoma. this is a service to help parents find good reputable babysitters that we can trust with our kids. wow, wendy, i saw the video. i m not sure if you did. it is disturbing. i had to look away. not just because i m a parent but just to see what happens to this 11-month-old. i mean, we re talking socks or a towel being thrown very fast at this little baby. being violently held and shook. what would make a 53-year-old woman treat an 11-month-old like that? a complete lack of empathy and compassion and because that was done to her, bottom line, i guarantee. but, mike, i want to correct one thing you said, you said the child wasn t injured that most. the emotional injuries that a baby feels they take through life with them. because those preverbal events that happened in their life are not stored as pure memories, but they are stored as feelings in our body. that is what is the tgedy of went on with this baby and care giver. it is horrible to watch. we tried to reach out to the attorney for the baby nanny. read a facebook. brandy writes this i really feel for the parents. i couldn t imagine having anything like this happen. all of us feel that way. let s listen, again, the baby it s baby s father, thankfully, didn t act out in his anger. let s listen to what he said. i let her go and we played with the kids and put them to bed and i decided to watch the video to see what happened that day and that s when i called her abusing our youngest son and that s this is while my older son was in school. fi had known then what i know now, i may be the one sitting in jail at this moment, so it may be good that it play ed out the way it did. wendy, i ll stay with you. a lot of people feeling with you, writing on facebook. just not wanting to run to this woman s house and let her have it. obviously, he did some great anger management there. fortunately, did some thing in the right order but know the big issue here is that so many parents especially in recession, mike, are working and both having to work crazy hours and get inexpensive child care where they can. i m a single mom, i m i ve got two kids i know what i ve got to do to cover for me seitz so, it is terrifying when something like this hits the news for parents out there. jennifer writes this on facebook. this is part of the reason i decided to be a stay-at-home mother. the trust factor. let s bring in adrian kallweit. owner of seekingsitters and also a licensed private iestigator. you know this, obviously it scares us, as parents. do you see anything here, looking at this, that these parent may have missed? again with the family a couple of years. referral from the friend. church s main employer. seemed pretty good, on the up and up, right. you never know. any recommendations that you get you need to follow up and follow through. as a licensed private investigator this is where we started this service. we ran into this own situation with our own family. i was looking to hire my son s pre-school teacher who passed a state background screening process, and i went to do my own in depth screening, and found things that the statewide screening missed, protective orders against the child care worker, eviction notices that weighed on her character. things that we would never bring that into our home and that s why we started this service to be able to provide a safe community for families. here s the excuse we re getting from the accused. charged with battery. jeannine campbell. she was mad at parents. took it out on the baby. and also says she admits to spanking the child before but this was the first instance of abuse. another facebook comment, this from amy writing lock her up so shy can try this with somebody her own size, basically. do you think that this woman is a bully, wendy? absolutely. i think she s lying, might be, i m sorry. this was not the first te it happened. it was the first time it was caught on video and i m sorry to say that she was a victim herself as a child. i can guarantee it. and what turns people. when you spank babies tall does is teach them how to hit and when you physically abuse children that usually points directly back to early childhood abe thselves. yeah. but that s not forgiving her for this. this was a crime. it was. one more let s go back to adrienne. the nanny cam helped uncover this. do you advise parents to get that? is that is that a safety net we all need? i just really think the nanny cam should be used in a totally different way. you should have the camera out in the open and let the sitter know that it s there. use it as a productive tool so that the families know that they re getting the most productivity out of their sitter while in their home. don t hide it and let the children be the victim of something happening in the home. put it out in the open and let it work for the family. okay. so not secretive about it, but whoever you haveired, we have a camera. there s some amazing two-way cameras these days where you can watch the kids at the home from your smartphone and check in throughout the day. let the sitters know, hey, i m going to be checking in. and watch for me. they re going to be on their best behavior all day long and you ll get that feedback from them that things are going great at the house. adrienne, thanks for the advice, great stuff. wendy, thanks for your insights as well. coming up tiger ods answering some tough questions. so out of nowhere he begins to answer questions. gives an interview to espn, to the golf channel, this again, four months after the scandal broke. this is part of the interview he did with espn s tom rinaldi. what reception are you expecting from fans. i don t know. i don t know. i m a little nervous about that, to be honest with you and that s how much do you care? it would be nice to hear a couple claps here and there. hey, if you ask me, that was one the more real moments he had in these two interviews. he broke character a little bit, it wasn t as scripted, he was humble, he had the right tone. what do you think ? did he score points with your not? call in. 1-877-tell-hln. so tiger woods finally answering some questions. talking to reporters in interviews that aired just last night. some of them surprised. first spoke to espn, the golf channel, five minutes each. t a lot time. now, there were moments of honesty. also moments where it looked rehearsed, again. take a listen, clips of both interviews asking tiger what he learned about himself in rehab, how he lost his way. what did you see? i saw a person i never thought i would become. who was that? well, i had gotten away from my core values as i said earlier i got away from my buddhism and i quit meditating. i quit doing all the things that my mom and dad taught me. how did things get so out of control? going against your core values. losing sight of them. i quit meditating. i quit being a buddhist. okay, what does he does he sound like a broken record to you or a broken man? seem like a genuine tiger woods? call in 1-877-tell-hln. back with us, rafer weigel, sports anchor morning express with robin meade catch him every morning. monday through friday, early morning. also, our analyst here to kick it off. you look at this and i was somewhat puzzled when i heard about it. what s strategy here? number one, i think, anyway. number one, you can say, now i answered questions. number two, you can kind of take the air out of what may happen out of augusta. just to say, hey, some these questions have already been answered. just, again the fury of augusta might be muted a little. by rafer, your thoughts on the interview. reporter: i thought that he did just enough and right now he can say i ve already answered these questions and at augusta national, now when people ask these questions, he can say i ve already spoken to you but a five-minute interview, you re right, mike, this was the most candid we ve ever seen tiger woods in the 14 years he s been on the tour. my jaw dropped when i heard him actually answer the question, why did you get married? but even tom rinaldi who did the interview from espn and he covers woods on the tour, said he did not say enough to end these questions. these questions are going to still keep coming. but he was candid enough that he came across more sympathetic. the more that the media peppers him the more that he may come across as a victim in the case. so, the media may have to go at its own risk right now. you look at this strategy, again, baffling to me, again, because sports fans were pretty much locked in on the college basketball tournament, and news people were watching the health care. and so why do you roll this out if you re tiger woods and tiger woods people. well it s a classic pr strategy. you break the news when everyone else is watching else so you get credit for having it out there but you don t become the headline of the day even as it was with those big stories this was still big news and he did, he got that side of the story. he did the tough interviews that he knew he had to do so we could focus, hopefully on his golf game. and really what tiger needs to do is putt very well and that will do him the most good. that s a good point there. if he plays lights out at augusta and then we re all talking golf again, as much, or more than his personal tribulations. lets listen a little bit here. shawna, let s get the part again where tom rinaldi is pressing him on what did you see as you looked in the mirror, basically, is where tom s going with this. let s listen to tiger woods response. it was tough. it was really tough. to look at yourself in a light that you never want to look at yourself that s pretty brutal. what did you see? i saw a person that i thought i would never become. who was that? well, i had got away from my core values as i had said earlier. i got away from my buddhism. i quit meditating. i quit doing all of the things that my mom and dad taught me. coming up, could a picture that a couple took be the remains of natalee holloway? divers are going to take a look, but we don t know when. it has been five years and this family needs closure. welcome in my colleague jane velez-mitchell who is coming up at the top of the hour. so, jane, are they going to look at this? obviously, they ey are. but jane, you and i have not talked about this, but when you see the picture, are you skeptical or what? i don t know what to make of . i m not an expert, but the experts say that given it has been five years, there is a great likelihood that the bones would have been disbursed by now, but in the movies the skel tans lie there for thousands of years, but in reality the bones are moved by wildlife and fish and disburse, but nevertheless, looking at it, it kind of looks like a skeleton to me, and certainly the couple who took the photo believe that it is a skeleton, and they have shown it to a lot of people. they say that they are pretty convinced it is a skeleton and they claim they can see the eye sockets and the jaw and even signs of an arm, and deteriorated clothing. of course, they ve had a chance to study this photo up close and personal. what we see is what we see. the experts say that this could be a rock formation that simply looks like a skeleton. nevertheless, it s worth checking out. either natalee holloway is still alive or her remains are somewhe. and a likely place and in the waters off the coast of aruba and that s where they found this. jane, i agree. let s listen. here are the folks who took the picture.something here. let s listen to what they have to say. when i looked at that photo, i said, by darn, that certainly does look like a skeleton. but i started showing it around to different people, getting comments. what do you think? i just told them to look at this pictur what do you see? of course there s that little snake that pat was taking on the right side of the picture, and then they d look and say, oh, my god, yes. that s that looks like a skeleton. a human body. jane, they seem like well-meaning people. are you skeptical of them at all? no. i think they really the timeline shows that they really took this photo in october and then they had it developed. they still didn t see it and then they were showing friends and going over the vacation and suddenly, oh, they saw this. and with their friends they began looking at this photo. so i think they re legit. the question is is the skeleton legit? all right. jane, thanks. coming up, a teen who needed a protective order. there s now a law in her name ter her tragic death. dddddd
