The toddler was reported missing last april after her mom nicole failed to show up for work at best bay. Nicoles body was found a few days later in a shallow grave in mclaren park covered with a piece of plywood. No one has seen ariana since. Her aunt has a theory. I do believe someone is caring for her. I believe that the whole reason that this happened is because someone wanted ariana. Reporter one year since nicole was seen alive, several people gathered for a vigil. San Francisco Police confirmed that they recovered a car possibly connected to the case. The fbi is now testing it for evidence. It makes me feel great. Its one step closer to having ariana home. Reporter thats not the only hope. She is optimistic the car could lead to nicoles killer and the abductor as well. It gives me hope that its going to soon, hopefully soon lead to the people who are responsible. Reporter nicole called ariana her butterfly. Family and friends pinned butterflies to their jackets. The bright bold beautiful colors reminding them of ariana. She disappeared from her home in vallejo last year. They believe the 15yearold may be alive held by human traffickers. They have new evidence to focus on the town of jen ner in sonoma county. Pin sons suspected kidnapper was captured by surveillance cameras in bodega bay, the day after she vanished. A day later he died in a shoot out with police. More than a dozen people were sent to the hospital. Victims included seven children. Four people suffered very serious injuries along westbound highway 4 near lone tree way. Three badly injured children had to be flown by helicopter to Trauma Centers in oakland and sacramento. With the incident being spread out on highway four, we am all our resources on the highway.
